The 8,000 BTU cools rooms up to about 350 sq ft. The 10,000 BTU cools rooms up to about 450 sq ft, like an open living and dining area.
What windows does the kit fit?
The included window kit fits sliding windows and single or double-hung windows from 36 to 49 in.
Do I have to empty water?
In cool mode most moisture leaves through the exhaust hose. In dry mode or on very humid days, connect the included 10 ft drain hose for continuous draining.
How much moisture does dry mode remove?
Up to 38 pints a day for the 8,000 BTU and 49 pints a day for the 10,000 BTU, depending on humidity.
How loud is it?
About 51 dB, and sleep mode keeps it calm at night.
Does it need a special outlet?
No. It plugs into a standard 115 V household outlet. Plug it straight into the wall rather than an extension cord.
