What if my item arrives damaged or doesn't work?

My return label expired or I lost it. What do I do?
Just reply to the email your label came in and we'll send it again. Labels are good for 30 days from the day we issue them.
Choosing the Right Unit
What size air conditioner do I need?
Match the BTU rating to your room. Every product page lists the room size each unit is built for, in square feet. As a rule of thumb, 8,000 BTU suits a bedroom or office, 10,000 BTU a large bedroom or living room, and 12,000 to 14,000 BTU a big, open room. Sunny rooms, high ceilings and kitchens need a size up. Not sure? Email us your room size and we'll pick one for you.
Portable or window air conditioner?
A portable AC rolls on casters and vents hot air out through a hose and window kit. There's nothing to mount, and you can move it room to room. A window AC sits in the window and keeps your floor clear. Both are on our shop page.
Which ice maker is right for me?
Countertop ice makers are for the kitchen, home bar or RV. Fill the tank, plug it in, and the first batch drops in minutes. Self-dispensing and water-dispenser models pour ice and cold water at the push of a button. Undercounter and commercial machines connect to a water line and make enough ice for a restaurant, bar or café.
Using Your Unit
Does a portable air conditioner need a window?
Yes. Portable ACs push hot air outside through the exhaust hose. Each one comes with a window kit for standard sliding and hung windows, and setup takes about 10 minutes with no tools.
Do I need to drain my portable air conditioner?
Many of our units recycle most of the moisture they collect and send it out with the exhaust air, so you rarely need to empty them. In very humid weather, or when you use Dry mode, you can drain them through the drain port or attach a hose for continuous draining. Each product page lists that model's details.
Can I install a window air conditioner myself?
Yes. Our window units include the mounting hardware and side panels for a standard window, and most people install one in under 30 minutes. Check the window size range on the product page first.
Do countertop ice makers need a water line?
No. Just pour water into the reservoir and plug the machine in. Undercounter and commercial machines connect to a water line for automatic refills. The product page says which setup each model needs.
Does the ice stay frozen in the basket?
Countertop ice makers aren't freezers. Ice that slowly melts drains back into the reservoir and is made into fresh ice again. For a big batch, move the ice to your freezer as it fills. Commercial machines have insulated bins that keep ice for hours.
How do I clean my ice maker?
Many of our models have a self-cleaning cycle. Otherwise, run a rinse with water and a little vinegar or lemon juice every few weeks, and empty the reservoir if you won't use the machine for a few days.

Do I need an account to order?
No. You can check out as a guest. We'll email your order confirmation and tracking either way.
